Mandate

Proyecto/Project IDEAS provides CBOs and HDs with free capacity-building assistance (CBA) to improve HIV prevention services for Latino/Hispanic populations living in:

• Colorado
• Iowa
• Kansas
• Missouri
• Montana
• Nebraska
• North Dakota
• South Dakota
• Utah
• Wyoming

We provide CBA services that focus on adapting and tailoring CDC-approved, science-based effective behavioral interventions (EBI) in a way that is culturally, linguistically and educationally appropriate for Latino/Hispanic communities.

IDEAS Methodology:

• Identification of organizational needs and resources
• Development of a tailored CBA plan
• Execution of the plan
• Assessing the intervention
• Sustaining the intervention

Proyecto/Project IDEAS is funded by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) under program announcement 04019.

Staff

Proyecto/Project IDEAS is comprised of experienced staff dedicated to assisting community-based organizations and health departments with to their Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) needs. Many of our staff are bilingual in English and Spanish and are able to provide assistance in either language.
